Frequently asked questions
What should I wear?
Regular activewear works great: a sports bra or t-shirt with shorts or yoga pants. Shorts come in handy for the pole part — skin contact is what gives you grip.
Do I need shoes?
No — classes are barefoot. Socks are fine; please leave sneakers at the door.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing your own yoga mat and a towel. The studio has communal mats and towels for first-timers or in case you forget yours.
Do I need any equipment?
No — everything else is provided by the studio: dumbbells, kettlebells, yoga blocks and elastic bands.
Are men welcome?
Absolutely — classes are mixed and open to everyone.
Can teenagers join?
Yes — teenagers can join with parental consent.
Do I need to be fit or have experience?
No experience needed. Beginners classes start from zero, the warm-up gradually builds your strength and flexibility, and every student gets an approach suited to their level.
How big are the classes?
Groups are kept small: the studio has four poles that can be set to static or spinning mode, one flying pole (attached only at the top) and one aerial hoop, which students share — so everyone gets guidance and rest between attempts.
Anything to avoid before class?
Skip body lotion and oils on training day — they make the pole slippery. Also remove rings and other jewelry that could scratch you or the pole.
Will I get bruises?
Probably a few at first — "pole kisses" are a normal part of learning. As your technique and skin adapt, they quickly become rare.
How often should I train?
Once a week is perfectly fine, but 2–3 times a week is the sweet spot for steady progress — that's why memberships range from 1× to 4× per week.
What if I miss a class?
Missed classes can be made up within the same month. Please let the trainers know in advance — class sizes are limited.
How can I pay?
By cash or bank transfer. If you join after a trial class, the trial fee is deducted from your membership.
Do you offer gift vouchers or group events?
Yes — gift vouchers are available, and you can book hen parties and private group events. Get in touch for details.
Where can I park?
Parking is free in the Katran courtyard, right outside the studio.
How do I start?
Book a trial class (10 €) through the contact form or by email — we'll find you a spot in a group that fits your level and schedule.
